He has been used for Barrel Racing, Pole Bending, Head Horse, Sorting Cattle, Team Penning, Trail Riding, Lessons, and Fun Day Events. He has the sweetest temperament and personality you could ask for; kids and adults alike adore him. He is for sale due to personal health problems that prevent me from riding. This horse is way too nice to sit in a pen and I have made a tough decision to offer him to another family. I am working with my kids and their own horses; sadly, I need to let Wrangler go. Wrangler can be ridden by anybody; he will gauge his speed to whatever level the rider is comfortable with, beginner to advanced. I have put brand new riders on him, and they are comfortable to lope on him. He has a nice floating gate that is extremely comfortable to ride. His lope feels like you’re floating. For barrels and competitive events, he would be youth to advanced suitable; he’ll be as quiet or on the muscle as you want him to be. He can be run in a snaffle as he is light in the face and extremely willing to please. He knows all the leg ques and will slow his speed as you sit deeper in the saddle. Wrangler stands quiet and patient to be groomed and saddled. He absolutely loves attention (and treats). He stands for farrier and is up to date on farrier work (on a 5-week rotation). I have kept front shoes on; however, the previous owner pulled them in the winter months. He is up to date on all vetting including teeth, shots along with Fall boosters. I provide general maintenance for him. He is an easy keeper who is a wonderful gentleman in a stall or in a pen, alone or with other horses. He has no bad habits. He trailers well and is quiet in new places. Wrangler is very well loved and I am hoping another family will love him as we have. You don’t want to miss out on this horse; honestly, he’s one in a million. Both hocks have missing hair in a small spot due to laying down in stall and outside. Right front pastern an old scar, back right leg cannon bone small bump. None of these affect him in any way. Feel free to contact me at any time for additional information.
