We have used KT King of Blue, “King,” for the last several years, but have too many related horses, forcing us to make some tough decisions. King is bred for performance out of an Autumnator son, going back to Smart Little Lena, Dual Pep, and Shining Spark on the top side. His bottom side is King, Major Bonanza, and Ed Echols to name a few. He is has a work mentality, with lots of grit, muscle, and go. We had King broke to ride, used him for the last several years to produce outstanding foals, now he is back with Jordan Pace for a refresher. Make no mistake, this is not a trail horse. King is all business. We have mostly pasture bred with him. He can be hard to catch, but is extremely smart so should acclimate easily to a new ranch. We have shipped foals out of him all over the U.S., into Canada and Mexico. King throws big hipped, keen headed, athletic foals that are very marketable. King stands 14.2 and as wide as he is tall. Good foot, good bone, pretty head. Like most good stallions, he out produces himself and does well on all types of mares.
