Description:
Check out this dirty tough draft cross gelding! Roosevelt is 8 years old and stands a solid 16.2 hands. He has spent most of his life on the trail in big country – he travels smooth and forward, with lots of motor for even the longest days. He’ll cross deadfall and rivers, trail cows, has had a rope swung off him a little and enjoys being outside. Roosevelt is strong and sound, good with his feet, does well in a herd, and has been picketed, hobbled and packed. He will do best with a gentle hand and experienced rider as he can be hard to catch and is watchy. Roosevelt is snorty on the ground and too much horse for our guest ranch. He has had no trouble saddling right up after extended periods of time off and has not offered to buck or get tight. We want to see him go to a good home with a steady job and miles to cover.
