Big Blue is a finished ranch horse and knows what a days work is like. Big Blue is handy broke, he was used to push cattle at the feed lots and do all the ranch chores. Big Blue neck reins, side passes and has a good stop, he also rides great in the arena and picks up both his leads and he has a smooth walk, trot, canter. He rides english and western and will take a jump. I think Big Blue would excel in hunter/jumper if someone so chose. Big Blue is very versatile and takes to whatever you ask of him. We have taken Big Blue up in the mountains on trails and also down the main highway into town to grab a cup of coffee. Big Blue does not easily get rattled and nothing seems to faze him, we have exposed him to bouncy balls, flapping tarps and all kinds of obstacles and he takes it like a part of life. Big Blue is stout with a big foot and bone. He rides out alone or in a group and goes wherever you point him with no issues. Big Blue is well bred with Docs Hickory and Peppy San Badger right on his papers. He will come up to you in the pasture and gets along with a mixed herd, he loves attention and is quiet enough my 3 yr old son can pet and lead him around the barnyard. Big Blue stands to be washed and for the farrier. He also stands to be tacked and mounted. Big Blue sells sane and sound.
