Description:
This registered thoroughbred horse has an abundance of try and a huge heart. He is totally sound all around and in great shape. He has been doing both English and western flat work and started on jumping- he LOVES jumping. With less than three months training (time of video) he has excelled on leg work and learned to respond to both English and western reins. He has spent time on the trail pleasure riding. He isn’t picky about bits, works well in a variety bridles. There were no spurs used in the video, but he is very comfortable with them. He is started on lead changes and quite natural at them. Jumping just makes him happy- he looks for the jumps and is thinking about his striding into them. He has been to one show and through that course twice with no hesitations. His jumping practice has been all about building his confidence and letting him have some fun with it. Now he is actually ready for some real course work with someone. If you are a youth or amateur, even semi-experienced, and would like to enjoy the experience of seasoning a horse- this guy is for you! If you are a novice youth or amateur with consistent professional guidance, Tiz would also work for you. If you are a trainer and would like to make a solid horse for someone, I believe Tiz would take less than a year to do so. Right now, he is like a sponge- with no bad habits- so it’s important that he gets proper information to soak up. He has had two novice youth on him (a boy and the girl in the video) and Tiz took great care of them. He understood his responsibility. End of the day, Tiz really wants a best friend that will snuggle him a bit… this horse will bring many smiles to someone’s life. Willing to hold up to 10 days, willing to travel 150 miles.
