Description:
Clyde is a pretty steel gray 4-year-old registered Quarter Horse gelding. We have owned Clyde since he was a weanling. He had 15 rides as a 2YO, 15 rides as a 3YO and went on the payroll as a 4YO and will have 90 days by sale date. I run a yearling grass operation and Clyde was one of my main mounts starting in July. He received a wire cut on the right hind leg in April that put him out for the start of the summer. He sells 100% sound. He has a big motor and is ready for someone to give him a career. Because of his athletic ability and desire to run to cattle I think he will make a great head horse if someone has the ability and patience to do so. He stands for the farrier, is easy to catch and handle. His resume includes shipping and receiving cattle, roping and doctoring yearlings, working calves at a head and heel branding, sorting mixed cattle out of a stackyard, moving cattle and working/ponying colts out. He crosses moving water, goes over down timer, and out walks most horses. He has the start of a good turn around, decent stop and really hooks on to cattle. He has white spots on the withers and a scar on the RH leg. Feel free to call with any questions, to arrange a time to look and or ride Clyde and talk about shipping arrangements.
