Meet Paxton….this 11 year old, chromed up, flashy APHA buckskin gelding stands 16 hands and will turn heads for his easy traveling style as well as eye catching good looks. He is a people pal who meets us at the gate, is easy to catch, load, haul, bathe and excellent with his feet. Our family of 6 has all ridden him - spanning from an 8 year old daughter to Dad.



Paxton will be a fantastic 4-H and open horse show prospect: showmanship and western riding (under an English saddle he would undoubtedly shine as well!). He takes his leads like a dream with many gears to compliment all events and expectations.



This gentle fella shines brightest within the familiarity of an arena setting; cattle work and big open country are not necessarily his comfort level. He will travel out, cross creeks, hills and trails but is too much outside for our 8 year old daughter. Although she wants to keep him for her "inside" show and gaming horse, we just can’t keep him around for that purpose only. He needs a little person to love him and use him to his fullest potential.



Paxton is smart, gentle, beautiful, and very talented. Our only reason for letting him move on is that we need a working ranch horse first and foremost. We know he sounds almost too good to be true, but this handsome, well trained guy is the real deal and all you’ll need for years to come.
