Doc’s HellCat

- Started Breakaway Horse

- ZERO barrel training but look at this lope through taken this evening talk about versatile



“HellCat” is a 6yr old bay gelding. He was started last year and had a good handle put on him by a reputable trainer. I bought him 6 months ago to get him started in the breakaway and have worked with him all winter. HUGE -shut the clock off- stop and lots of rate. I have tracked the dummy a ton at all gates. We have tracked the dummy out of a box and done a little barrier work as well. We have tracked live cattle around the arena and have been roping them. And just a few out of the box.

He takes both leads great, lopes a collected right/left circle. Counter arcs, moves off your leg, one rein broke.

I have hauled him to barrel races and rodeos to see the sights and ride around.

I had a lameness exam done when I purchased him, passed with flying colors and have the radiographs.
