Description:
CT Frenchmans Guy "Holly" is a 2013 chestnut mare. Finished in the breakaway and barrels, heavily patterned in the poles and has been stepped off of. Stands right around 14.1 hh. I adore this mare.

I have owned her since she was an un-started 4 year old and she has done nothing but please. She has had a slow, patient start so she should have lots of years left in her.

She’s done lessons with toddlers, drug around ratty 2 year old colts, taught kids to ride and run barrels, I can’t say enough good things about this mare.

I think she’d best fit a college/high-school kid or lower. Youth suitable all day long, can get a little prancy if she’s super fresh, but good and honest. I don’t think she has the power for an open breakaway horse or beyond. But that’s just my opinion. That being said, she has been winning money at tough local breakaway jackpots for the past two years. Depending on the rider, she could make a really neat college breakaway horse.

Has been tied on solid to calves and logged extensively, it didn’t phase her. Could easily be finished in the tie down with some time in the practice pen.

Requires some very minimal, standard maintenance for a competitive horse. Never had any major injuries to joints, tendons, ligaments etc. Never been injected.

Has jackpot and amateur rodeo earnings in the breakaway.

Has 2D placings and 3D, 4D earnings at big and small local barrel races but no super shows.
