2011 ApHC Bay Leapord Gelding

Commanche is an 11-year-old Registered ApHC gelding standing 15.1 hds tall. Commanche is the coolest gelding you will ever meet with spots for days and an amazing brain to come with him. Commanche has done everything from reining, team roping and breakaway, trail riding, hunting elk in the mountains (before he came to Beaver Ranch), to a children’s horse. This is one broke dude! He is a finished reiner, could easily go show with a rookie, novice or youth. He has over 50 ApHC points in the reining and ranch riding. Super smooth gaits with a beautiful extended trot and a Cadillac lope. Commanche is a finished rope horse - heads and heels, my 79-year-old father heels on him every week. Stands in the box and leaves flat. We have trail ridden Commanche all over. He has a nice ground covering walk, will lead or follow. Commanche was used to bring elk out of the mountains before we acquired him. Quiet and gentle enough for novice riders or will really get around for experienced riders. You will want to ride him everyday if he is standing in your barn. Super friendly and always ready for you to do something with. Don’t miss this one of a kind gelding! UTD on coggins, farrier, dentist, shots.
