Description:
Beautiful old Buckaroo style bridle. The Head Stall has deep cut tooling. Has a Brow Band and Nose Band. The leather is soft and supple. The conchos are Sterling Silver and both are stamped STERLING. They are 2" diameter and engraved. The old bit is a Bird bit with a spade mouthpiece. The spade is an Ancho style aka Frog. The braces are wrapped with Copper pieces. The old rein chains are still on the bit. This chased iron bit has the birds head design on the lower section of the shanks. The bit is not maker marked but was probably made by Buermann. I got this bridle in Eastern Oregon’s High Desert Ranch Country over 35 years ago. I am 71 and decided to sell most of my collection.
