Description:
Jasper is a 15 year old AQUA gelding. I bought this horse around 3 years ago and have used him extensively in the Feedyard. Ive also moved a ton of cows off of him and have done a lot of roping doctoring in the pasture and heading and heeling in the branding pen. I would say this horse is pretty good at about everything but super good at much. He is a very calm mannered horse even when roping or sorting cattle in the Feedyard. He’s super soft and you can move his feet wherever you need them just not super fast. He has been rode by lots of kids beings he came from a dude ranch and he has a really good disposition for kids but I am NOT selling as kid proof because if he’s let to sit for a few weeks or months he can get cinchy but if rode consistently he has never given me a problem. He is super respectful to you on the ground and easy to move out of your space. He ground ties really good and will hold a rope tight by himself while I doctor a calf.



About a year ago he caught his hoof is some barbwire and cut it pretty bad right above the hoof messing up the coronary band. By now it has completely healed but because of some scar tissue still there he occasionally will have a slight limp when trotting in a tight circle to the left. Under saddle though I rarely will even notice him favor it. It does NOT effect how he gets around and will NOT get sore if rode super hard.
