He is gentle and has great ground manners. He is pastured with geldings and gets along with everybody. He has been ridden with mares and behaves very well. He is sound and sane, he has solid nerves and is very level headed. We ride him with our two year old son, since he is so quiet and calm. This horse really steps out when it’s time to go to work. He has a fast, long strided walk and can cover some country! He also really loves having a job. He almost always has a perky, cheerful expression when he is working. In the arena, he is quiet but very responsive. He has been used for daily ranch work, roped in a branding pen and in the pasture. He drags calves good. He will watch and track a cow. Very athletic and responsive no matter the environment. His feet are solid, he can be ridden in the rocks. Stout, with solid bone, he can work all day. This is an eye-catching horse. 5-panel tested and all negative. He has been used extensively for fall work this year. With that winding down, he will be back in the arena for more training.
