Description:
We are looking to hire a seasonal ranch hand on our family ranch in the Sandhills of Nebraska. We will calve around 950 head of cattle consisting of around 400 head of heifers and 550 cows and have around 250 fall calving cows on top of that.



Any interested individuals will ideally have cow/calf experience, be mechanically inclined and be able to weld. The position starts around the 1st of February and will run until the 15th of June. There is potential for this to turn into a full time position for the right individual.



In order for it to turn into a full time position I would like an individual that is very mechanically inclined, an excellent welder, has haying experience including running a swather, rake and baler, has a strong desire to handle cattle in a calm manner and is very good at riding and training horses. I am willing to take on the right individual and train them if they look like they will fit our operation perfectly. For an individual that meets all of my criteria I pay up to $3,000 per month and provide some extra perks on top of that. But they must meet all of my wants.
