Description:
My name is Alex Horne. I’m 24 years old. I’m currently on a cattle ranch in Wyoming but am looking for some ranch work in Colorado.



Candidly, I couldn’t start until October.



I am open to all kinds of work: caretaker, ranch hand. If the situation is right, I would consider a position on a guest ranch.



I grew up on a horse farm in South Carolina and worked on a cattle farm there as well in addition to being on a few ranches in Wyoming and Colorado.



I’m experienced in most aspects of ranching. Calving, branding, a little doctoring, lots of fencing, feeding, haying, etc. I have LOTS experience operation and maintaining equipment. Very handy with a skid-steer and mini-ex. For what it’s worth, I’m experienced with lots of pigs and lots of chickens as well. I’m a hard worker, fast learner, and fun to work with.



I have done a lot of construction/mechanic work as well.



In addition, I’m very friendly and good with people.



I would like housing provided for myself, my girlfriend, and my old German Shepherd (very well behaved).

$2500/month is preferable.



I am looking for work in the mountains in Colorado. But if the situation is right, I’d stay in Wyoming, or go to Montana (i.e. in the Rockies).
