Jax is a finished breakaway, calf roping, and heel horse. This gelding is as finished as they come and is a been there and bought the t-shirt type rope horse. He has been jackpotted on and high school rodeoed on. Has been through a barrier and is always solid in the box.

Jax is an 18 year old grade gelding and he stands 15 hands. He is gentle for any level of roper to rope on and will take care of a beginner but is really wicked with an experienced roper. He will take you to the pay window and is ideal for someone looking for a Jr High or High School rodeo horse on a budget.

We have heeled a ton on this horse since we have had him and have breakaway roped on him also along with turning the occasional steer on the head side when we have been short on headers. We are not calf ropers, aside from doctoring cattle in the pasture, but he is a finished calf horse and you will find a video running to one, stepping off, and holding a tight rope included in the video links below. We have live cattle to try him on, both calves and roping steers.

Jax hauls really well and does not have any silly habits or quirks. He does not get sore and does not require any maintenance however, we keep him shod and on previcox to keep him performing at the best of his ability.
