Description:
This is a really nice set of Angus and Angus cross heifers. Half of them are home raised on the LK Ranch and the other half are sourced from a neighbor in the White River valley. All heifers were raised above 9000 feet elevation as calves and returned to the same elevation as yearlings for breeding. These heifers are gentle yet have been driven many miles horseback. Heifers will weigh between 1050 and 1200 pounds. 40% were scanned pregnant to calve approximately 2/20-3/10. The remaining 60% will calve approximately 3/10-4/15. The bulls used were all half brother sons of Yardley Bold Brave. These bulls themselves were low birth unassisted out of first calf heifers. All heifers were palpated pregnant within the last 30 days and vaccinated with Bovishield Gold FP5, Clostrishield BCD, Scourguard 4K, and poured with Vetrimec.
