She has been ridden by a beginner level rider for the last year on trails with no problem. This mare is very easy to ride, she is well broke, has very smooth gaits, and a good neck rein. She stays very honest, is easy to ride, isn’t buddy sour or barn sour. She is best suited for someone who wants to walk and trot and ride at a leisurely pace. This mare is an excellent trail horse. If you watch the video you can see how relaxed and quiet she is headed down a busy 6 lane street. Isn’t spooky at all, and is not bothered by traffic or anything we’ve encountered on trails. She’s been ridden all over from rough rocky desert mountain parks, to heavy city populated areas. She is excellent with traffic, barking dogs, ATV’s, Bicycles, donkeys, crossed the bride without hestiation the first time. She is quiet and confident on trails out alone or with other horses. She is sure footed, light in the bridle, and easy to ride. This mare stands quietly for anything you’d like to do. She is dog gentle to be around on the ground. Excellent ground manners, ties, bathes, loads and hauls excellent. Stands quietly to mount. She is healthy and sound, has clean legs and great feet. She’s been barefoot the last year with no problems. She trots sound both directions with no lameness. I believe this mare is best suited as a trail horse, that is where she is the happiest. She prefers not to go fast and doesn’t want to be a performance horse. This is a great little mare that is very easy and enjoyable to ride and be around.
