For your consideration: Cats Lad. 2008 red roan gelding by Cats Merada out of Boonlights Lass by Boonlight Dancer. Lad is 15 hands tall and weighs 1,100lbs. He was raised in Texas and moved to the Cowan Select Horses ranch in northern Montana. He was sold at the Legends of Ranching Horse sale at CSU in Fort Collins, Colorado. Now located in Sterling, Colorado. Lad is as cowy as they come and will turn one down the fence or drag it to the fire. With the athleticism and eagerness to work a cow also comes the calmness and relaxed nature to hangout and go down the trail! Lad is a rare horse to come by, I can guarantee you don’t want to over look him! Smooth at all gaits and has a big stop that feels like you’re sliding into home base. Lad has experience in cutting, working cow horse, and ranching. Cats Lad is Ranch Heritage Eligable!
