Description:
Jiffy is one classy made, gentle gelding. He is 14 hands, ll00lbs with excellent bone sturcture and a cute head. He is super smooth riding, kind and easy going. He is kid safe, husband safe, gentle enough for the most beginner and he will take care of his rider every step but if you know how to ride he is handy and fun. He has an excellent on handed neck rein, soft in the mouth and ribs, he lopes out of his tracks and stops nice on his hind end. He has been our "go to" horse for every beginner rider but has also been Ida’s main personal horse all summer. She has done all the ranch work on him, gathering, sorting, some pasture roping. Jiffy is sure footed up and down rough terrain, crosses water, downed timber, and goes through thick brush with out hesitation. He is happy to ride in a group or he will ride off alone without a fuss. Ida has carried sponsor flags at the Cody Nite Rodeo on him. He doesn’t get hot, walks in the arena calm and quiet every time. Jiffy is so solid and steady that Ida used him to build confidence of other horses and riders carrying flags by letting them go with her into the arena. We have had inexperienced kids ride him all over bareback and in a halter, take him swimming in the pond and ride him down the road to Grandma’s house for lunch. He is the same horse ever time you ride him, solid broke, no sillyness, willing to do anything you ask of him. He has excellent ground manors and is a gentleman to handle. Loads in and backs out of the trailer, he is good to bathe, clip and shoe.
