We bought him @ 2 1/2 from his breeder,never bucked,beautiful,well bred,We have owned & trained a number of brothers to Montana & every one has been easy to train, no buck, & anyone can ride.



Montana is a gentle, solid ranch gelding who stays broke with time off. Likes kids. Our 11 yr old neighbor boy has been riding him a lot this year. Anyone in the family can ride him, & he will come over to anything you stand on to help you mount up, so he is easier to get on than a short horse. Calm & gentle yet very responsive with an experienced rider, One of those horses everyone is looking for, a very soft one handed neck rein, takes both leads on cue, yields to leg pressure, side passes, backs smoothly, & is a smooth horse to ride. He is cowy & has pushed hundreds of head of cows into the tub, is automatic on gates, good to use a flag off of. Good horse to train colts off of, use him in the round pen & pony off of him. Big bodied, stands 15.1hh, is deep in the heart girth, stout bone & good feet. We have used him for inexperianced guests.Good saddle back, always sound & healthy & no bad habits. Catch him anywhere, rides bareback with a halter. Rides with either a hackamore or bit,riding with a light neck rein, good walk, very light off the leg. Young horses coming up is reason for selling.
