Description:
Pecos is a super pretty sorrel gelding that’s safe, sane and gentle. He’s very broke with a great handle. He’s easy for anyone to ride. He’s very kind with a great personality. He tacks up without issue and is a step on and go kind of horse. An elderly gentleman owned him prior to us and him and his grandkids did everything with him. He’s an awesome ranch horse that’s been used for every day tasks including gathering, penning, sorting pairs, roping and doctoring sick cattle, dragging calves to the fire and loading trucks. He’s a cool heel horse and has been hauled quiet a bit. The man also used him to use as a flag horse at jackpots. He’s been used as a trail horse and has been ridden all over including in the Palo Duro Canyon and up in the mountains. He was used as a scout horse on the big trail rides. He has been exposed to bicycles, motorcycles, ATV’s, joggers, etc and is not phased by any of it. He’s always ready to be caught and is happy to be doing whatever you ask him to. He has a good work ethic and mind. If you’re looking for a really nice gelding that has looks, brains, is reasonably priced and is broke here he is. Don’t miss him. Pecos doesn’t have any bad habits or vices. He stands for the farrier, ties, clips, bathes, loads and hauls.
