Cheeks is a big, sweet, sensible mare that is willing and able to do what you ask of her. She is a great head horse. I’ve been hauling her and won on her. Strong out of the box, no sourness, scores great, and is strong from the horn. She has plenty of speed and rates well. Would fit beginner on up.



She also earns her keep doing ranch work. Drug calves at brandings, held on nordforks, moved cows, chased bulls, and picked up calves. She is gentle as they come, no buck even after the winter off. She is soft in the face and light on pressure cues. You can put the kiddos on her for moving cows or use her as your own main mount. Enough mind, grit, and speed for both. She gets along with all horses; geldings and mares alike. Great for the farrier, loading, tying. Sound.
