Description:
Clay is a 14yr old, 15.3h, red dun roan gelding that is a big sweetheart and is very easy to ride. This big guy is beginner safe. He has been used extensively on the ranch and sale barns. He has been roped off of out in the pasture as well as out of the head box and has been used as a pickup horse. He rides mainly off your seat and legs. Very easy gaits to ride and is the type of horse anyone can get along with.

Clay has been used for all types of ranch work and has been used as a pick up horse. He has been backed in the box and headed off of as well. We have personally used this horse to gather and rope cattle out in the pasture as well as leant him to some friends that were needing a reliable mount to move and sort horses in the sale barn with. He’s the type that won’t give anything a second look and will go on about business with a level head.

Clay would be great for a beginner or someone just wanting an easy to ride gelding to get work done in the pasture, arena, or just wanting to pleasure ride.

He neck reins well and rides mainly off of your legs. Clay has a nice stop and really turns around nicely. He isn’t a fancy broke type of horse, but everything he does he does correctly and very easily. You can open gates on him, cross water, ride through rough terrain, ride him in just a halter bareback and he will take care of you.

Clay is sound and sane in every way. Only mark you will find on this horse is a small circular knot on his chest which does not effect him at all and it’s not sore to the touch whatsoever. He is priced to sell at $5500. Located in Weatherford, Tx.
