Description:
Jane is a beautiful buckskin mare, with a good mind and an excellent foundation. She is 7 years old and 15.2hh, with a good hip, plenty of bone and a baby doll head with a kind eye. Jane is extremely gentle and personable, and has been well started. She is ready for someone to finish her out in any direction they choose. She is gentle and quiet enough to be a nice pleasure horse, handy enough to be a ranch horse, and has the athletic ability to make a nice performance horse. She would make a nice English horse as well. Jane has been used outside on the ranch and lightly roped off of, has sorted cattle in the pens and has been used to check fence out in the pasture. She was turned out with the cows and one of them ate off her tail, but it will grow back in no time. She rides quietly on a loose rein, content to walk quietly all day but will easily trot and lope when asked. She has an excellent stop and will drag her butt in the ground, just needs a little finishing on her neck reining. Jane is a pleasure to ride out in the pasture, crosses water with no problem, and isn’t spooky. She will go up, over, or through anything you point her at, isn’t scared of thick brush, and will easily hop over logs. Jane has a smooth trot and rocking horse lope, is good on both leads, and will work a gate. She doesn’t act mare-ish and can be tied next to, ridden with, and pastured with geldings without causing any problems. She can be ridden by herself or in a large group of horses with no problem. She will leave the group willingly and will happily lead or follow. Jane has also been ridden along the side of the road and in traffic and is not bothered by it. She has never offered to buck, rear, bite, kick or take off, and rides just as quiet in the arena as she does out in the pasture. Jane has good ground manners, stands quietly tied, and is easy to catch, load, haul, and shoe. THE GIRL ON HER IN THE VIDEO AND PICTURES IS 6 FOOT TALL. $3500.
