Description:
Seeking EXPERIENCED RANCH HAND with an excellent work ethic to work/live on a remote private ranch located near Gardiner, MT. This is not a “Cowboy” position. This is not your “Dude” ranch position.



This is a full time position, great benefits with limited housing to the right person. MUST be a self-starter, able to work independently, with a team, be physically fit and have a great attitude. Wage DOE



Duties will include but not limited to

• Clearing trails/operating chain saws.

• Knowledge of flood, hand line and K-line irrigation.

• Able to operate haying equipment, swathers, rakes, and balers.

• Able to lift 50-100# hay bales, feed bags, lumber etc.

• Able to safely operate other machinery, such as tractors, dozers, excavator, snow blowers, etc.

• Able to operate 4 wheelers/UTV and some equine knowledge helpful

• Must have or be able to obtain a Montana Noxious Weed Applicators License

• Must have clean driving record.

• Experience with livestock and equipment hauling helpful

• Mechanical experience a plus

• Some carpentry/electrical/plumbing a plus.

• Will need to work various areas of ranch if asked
