Description:
This is a very nice Wolfe Ranch bred and raised filly. She is several generations of Wolfe breeding. She is an exceptionally good looking draft-cross filly that is just being started under saddle now. She is gentle, gentle, gentle, willing and stout as a bull. She is 15.1 at 24 months and will mature about 15.3 hands and will weigh around 1400#. She is very correct with excellent bone and feet. She is a nice mover and will go about any direction a person wants to go. She will make a big, stout ranch horse that can handle rodeo stock or big cattle while carrying a big rider or she would make a great trail riding horse. She is very easy to handle, naturally not spooky but very willing to move out She is grulla, but her dam was dun and later turned gray, so she could turn gray. She is pictured in the first two photos.

She is sired by our black Registered Percheron stallion, Glenview Kane (known around here as ’TINY’. The third photo is Tiny being ridden in a parade (his 10th ride and 1st parade), carrying a flag and a 6’4", 300# plus rider. He was not trained to ride or drive until he was 10 years old. All of his foals are easy to train and willing to do anything.

This filly’s dam is a very nice AQHA mare, Zips Blue Drifter, that is by a double bred Driftwood stallion that sired a lot of good ranch horses and roping horses. They were all cowey and athletic and very easy to train. They have won a lot in AQHA, Stock Horse and Foundation Association competition. At least 10 of his sons and daughters were exported to Europe and UK and he was exported in 2001 to Wales.

We have several other horses available including other draft cross and AQHA Registered horses of all ages including a number of ranch gelding and solid trail horses. We have been breeding ’horses that really ride’ for over 50 years.
