Lucky for you, I am offering Simon. I bought Simon as a long yearling and started him myself. Once I got him going he went to the Big Hole for some big country experience. As a long 5 year old he spent 60 days in professional reining training. I hauled him extensively as a pickup horse. He has seen the all the sights; picking up broncs, roping and dragging bulls, carrying flags, walking barrel horses in the arena. Lights, music, people, flags, he has been through it all. Watch the video and you can see him come to be caught from clear across the pasture. I also shoot a .22 over his back. People friendly and quiet doesn’t fully describe what a joy he is to have around. Simon has competed at ranch rodeos, roped cattle in the open, drug calves to the fire, opened gates; literally every ranch task you can imagine. He is really broke to ride, has a smooth handle and a rocking chair lope. Simon will pick up his leads from a standstill and rides collected and quiet. He is no speed demon, but has the athletic moves you will love. No buck, rear or bite. Bathes, shoes, ties and hauls like a champ. Gets along good with other horses. Best of all, he is EASY to catch.
