We are looking to fill the Guest Program Assistant position. Our ranch is in Southwestern Montana near the Continental Divide and just north of the Montana/Idaho border. The candidate must be comfortable with our remote, isolated location, and will in turn, be able to take advantage of endless outdoor activities across the valley including hiking, fishing, and wildlife viewing. We are proud to be stewards of one of Montana’s last undiscovered meccas for adventure—the breathtaking Centennial Valley. (Check out the video below!) --- PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES --- • Housekeeping--Cleaning and stocking guest cabins with a high attention to detail. Laundering and replacing linens between guest visits. Assessing and maintaining organization of supplies. • Yard & Grounds Maintenance--Responsible for weekly mowing between to guest arrivals and departures. Will participate with occasional grounds care and spa maintenance. • Guest Services--Periodic greeting of guests or group dinner service. • Miscellaneous tasks such as--cleaning ranch vehicles, assisting owner, running errands and generally lending a hand when needed. • Work with the Guest Manager to ensure completion of tasks and notify them of any items needing follow-through. Maintain open lines of communication by sharing concerns and contributing new ideas to help the program succeed. • This position is approximately 40 hours per week May 1 through October 20. Some nights and weekends will be required. Housing is provided as well as a ranch vehicle for use while on the property. Employees are responsible for purchasing and preparing their own food. --- TRAITS & VALUES --- • Flexibility, reliability and good communication are essential in this position. • A natural attention to detail • A self-starter, content working alone as well as contributing to the greater team. • An open communicator—willing to learn and receive feedback as well as share their ideas and concerns as they arise. • Comfortable working with their hands, walking, and standing for long periods of time. • Able to prioritize, work with a sense of urgency, and maintain high standards with little supervision. • Willing to embrace and uphold the values of the ranch exhibited through their treatment of the people, property and animals when on ranch property.
