Description:
We are looking for a long term ranch hand to take care of livestock, do maintenance and improvements on the place and be a team player in whatever comes up.



This is a unique position! We raise bucking horses and put on rodeos so there are no cows on the place. During the summer we will have around 200 roping steers and a hundred or so roping calves, but the rest of the year, it is strictly horses. We gather and sort everything horseback but this is not a "cowboy" job; we aren’t horseback everyday.



The right individual for the job is self motivated and reliable. We want you to get up in the morning and go see what needs done and do it.







Required:



Good references



Livestock husbandry experience



Willingness to live semi-remotely in legit winter conditions.



Ability and willingness to work independently



Ability to lift and carry 100 pounds



Willingness to take and pass a drug test



Basic mechanical skills







Bonuses:



Advanced mechanic skills



CDL (or willingness to get and maintain one)



Riding skills



Horse shoeing skills







Position includes a 3 bedroom house and possible matching IRA.
