Ranch Jobs: Wanted - Wildlife Hand for Cattle and Hunting Ranch - West Texas SOLD #78460 Posted by: DRH [see other ads by this poster] City: Pecos County [see other ads in this city] State: Texas [see other ads in this state] Job Title: Wildlife Hand Employer: DRH Ranch Salary: DOE Room & Board: Housing Phone #: Please do not call click to view fullsize image Description: Duties include but not limited to: Filling Deer Feeders using a 16 ton Feed Truck Keeping up with all deer feeders (Batteries, Timers, etc) Keeping all Deer Blinds maintained Assisting ranch manger with MLD paperwork and improvements Brush Control Taking Hunters to deer stands and some guiding Skinning and cleaning of game Fence Maintenance Checking Water Keeping Mineral and Salt out Light Plumbing Assisting with ranch projects Keeping Ranch Pickups, equipment, and barn clean Helping with cow works when and where needed Putting out liquid feed Assist with any other needs on the ranch Ranch Wildlife consists of: Whitetail, Mule deer, Black Buck, Elk, and Varmints Hunting season is a very busy time of year, hunting groups of 35-50 people This is a full-time permanent position that offers Health, Dental, and Vision insurance, 401k, two weeks paid vacation after one year, and a modern 3 bedroom/ 2 bath home with electricity, water, phone and internet provided. Must pass a back-ground check and Drug Testing. Must have current drivers license. Must be able to communicate through written English and email. Being able to speak Spanish is a plus but not required. No indoor pets and only two dogs or cats. Two broke geldings are allowed per employee and are maintained at ranches expense. Ranch employees only hunt at the end of the season after all guests groups are done for the season, cull management, and meat. We work long hours 6 days a week. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and doesn’t cut corners. We also have full and part-time work for spouse.
