Description:
Cattle duties are: Spring is helping calve 7-800 cows, helping crew with fences, riding on pairs on spring range, and other ranch work. Summer is full time on Forest permit and includes doctoring, some fencing, finding predator kills and moving pairs over 54,000 acres, all done horseback. Fall is gathering, weaning and moving cows off permit. Winter is bring cows home, helping w/ feeding and water, riding horses in indoor arena and some shop work. Must be good with horses.
