Description:
(Peppys Copper Bar) AKA "Willie" is a papered 15 year old finished heel/ranch horse. Doc Olena great grandson. Just turned 15 a couple of days ago. I have the papers in hand.



I have owned him since he was a late 3 year old, and my dad owned him for about a year before that. I have used him in every aspect of ranch work. You can tie on and rope anything on him in the pasture; calves, doctor wheat pasture yearlings, cows, bulls, etc. You can step off and doctor or tie down while tied on. I have sorted, penned, roped, drug in trailers, etc. He will not be outran in the pasture and will pull anything. He will jump over low barbed wire fences and logs. Will swim creeks if needed no problem. Has been everywhere on all different types of terrain. Has worked around dogs as well.



He is also a finished heel horse with a big stop. I have been heeling on him since he was 4. He has been to jackpots, US ropings, world series ropings, and rodeos.

You can head on him also but he can be a bit chargy on the head side. Pulls correctly and faces good. My 11 year old daughter heels the dummy and some steers on him as well. He will slow down for her and take care of her while she’s learning but then turn it back up when I rope on him.



He does not require shoes just trims. He has very tough feet and will never take a bad step without shoes. Does fine for the farrier though if you decide to shoe him. He has just never required them with me.



This is one of the toughest horses I have ever ridden. He never gets hurt and will work all day long. He has a huge heart and will not backup from anything.



No buck, kick, bite, etc. Can let him sit for as long as you want and get right back on and go. He is sound. No maintenance required. Easy keeper.



I am selling because I recently purchased a couple of younger horses and will be moving forward with them. That is the only reason.
