Description:
If you are looking for a good using horse that is extremely gentle and well broke, a horse that will go all day long and will do anything you ask him to do without hesitation, then Cisco is your horse. He is an awesome using horse, gentle and kind with a big heart, big motor, plenty of athletic ability and a good work ethic. Cisco is 12 years old and AQHA registered as “Doc Big Guy” #4633141. Check out his complete pedigree at: http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/doc+big+guy He is a nice looking horse, 15 hh with a big hip, 4 black feet and a pretty head with a kind eye. Cisco came off of a big cow/calf operation outside of Amarillo, Texas, where he was the foreman’s top horse. Cisco has been used to do every aspect of ranch work and knows his job inside and out. He has literally doctored thousands of calves, and he will stand and hold the rope while you doctor. He has been roped off of in the pasture, drug calves to the fire, drug bulls into the trailer, ponied colts, and has sorted pairs. He is very good on the end of a rope and will not get you into a bind. There were some days they would have to long trot 8 miles to the back pasture to check on calves, so Cisco has been taught how to move out and cover some ground. Cisco is gentle and has never offered to buck, and there is nothing that spooks or scares him. He has been ridden more miles in 12 years than most horses have in a lifetime and he has seen and done it all. He is a pleasure to ride out in the pasture, crosses water with no problem, and isn’t spooky. Cisco has a good handle and stop, will sidepass beautifully and open and shut gates all day long. He is an excellent ranch horse but doesn’t need to work every day to stay gentle. Cisco also enjoys a leisurely pleasure ride and would make a nice trail horse for someone as well. He carries a flag with no problem, will let you pull a slicker off of the fence and never move, and you can throw a bucket under his belly and he won’t even take notice. Cisco has had a ton of time and work put into him and it shows in his quiet temperament. He has the mind and ability to do anything you ask of him, and plenty of speed when you need it. He can be ridden out by himself or with other horses, and doesn’t mind being separated from the group.
