Description:
40 Three year old pairs with big fully worked Spring calves on them. These are "South Texas Crossbreds" that were purchased back in the drought during the Summer of ’09. All have at least 50% Brahman blood in them for Gulf Coast adaptability and are dehorned. At the time they were located near Blanconia, Texas, very thin and had their first calves at side. We didn’t know it, but over half of them were already bred back with their second calves! Unfortunately, we didn’t know what kind of bulls they were bred back to, but we can’t complain about the fertility. The last twenty or so should be sired by our "Mountain Meadow" Angus Bulls, which are the bulls back on the cows. Extremely gentle horseback and will come to cubes. No brands.
