Description:
58 Good South Texas Crossbred cows with a beautiful set of Charolais babies at side. These cows are mostly 5, 6, and 7 yr olds. There will be 10-15 short solid mouth and even a handful of broke-mouth cows. As you can see, these big cows have a lot of calves left in them and most are not showing their age at all and could easily be mistaken for a set of young cows. Great fertility on them; they all got bred in the middle of last year’s horrendous drought. These mamas can take care of themselves and can really "do the cooking". Dr. Jake David aged every one of them for us. The cattle have been fluked, lepto vibrio’d, wormed, and have also been on a good mineral and cake supplement program since January. All these calves were born April, May, and June and the cows are exposed back to a good set of Charolais bulls. These cows will weigh a good 1150-1250 lbs. and should wean some of the best calves of their lives this Fall. They will absolutely run to the cake wagon and also handle good horseback. Calves fully worked. Too cheap at $1050!
