Willing to start working right now. I have lots of experience for the tasks that many operations entail. I am 22 years old, but don’t let my age fool you. I have been working since I could walk and have the many years of hands on experience as well as education. The only credential that I currently do not have is a CDL. I can run and operate any type of equipment and have experience in hay production, irrigation, running hay equipment, and field maintenance. I am a diesel mechanic by trade and can work on a variety of vehicles ranging from small cars to heavy equipment. I have worked with my family’s cow/calf operation along with our USDA Natural Beef program;having knowledge of bovine reproduction and nutrition while working on the feedlot operation for several years. Cattle work including roping, calf-tying, sorting, branding, castrating, culling, ear tagging,medication administration, sorting, field grazing shift,vaccinating, herding, gathering, and shipping. Checking on heifers and cows calving (assisting in pulling calves, grafting if needed, assisting still calves, and bottle feeding, and replacement if needed) shifting bulls, weanlings, yearlings, cow and calf pairs. Feeding each group certain rations and feed ratios. Graze and pasture shifting per feeding requirements. I have helped feed, show, fit, clip, manage, and maintain a registered Hereford cattle operation in Northern California. Prepping for the Denver Stock Show (Western National), California State Fair, Nevada State Fair, Oregon State Fair, and Washington State Fair as well as jackpots throughout the west coast. I have also worked on and off whenever needed for several Angus operations for herd and show positions and commercial operations too. I have great knowledge in working with horses and training colts and have had a great privilege to work with some of the top performers in the American Quarter Horse Industry. I can rope, sort, gather, and push cattle on long drives no problem. I am very interested in pursuing any opportunity that is available and willing to grow with the right outfit. I am seeking long term employment with advancement opportunity. I have two horses that are livestock broke that I use daily and perform ranch work on. My fiancé ran a registered Angus herd and showed club calves competitively throughout the west coast. Having a lot of experience, she has worked with Kirk Stierwalt side by side several times and would always be eager and willing to help out when needed. I am looking for a new opportunity and chapter in my life for us. I have two dogs, one is a retired Border Collie and the other is a Red Heeler. Both dogs are very well behaved and trained. I am currently located in Northern California but will travel anywhere. Traveling is not a problem for the right job. I want to work for you! My objective is to become part of a team and be a team player by learning about the operation and providing my skills and knowledge as well. I like to show up to the job and bring more to the table and have things in better shape than it was before I started. If I don’t like how something has been done, I will do whatever it takes to get it done right. I have no problem with taking orders, but I also like to help where my opinions and skills can be put to task. At the end of the day, I want to perform the best out of anyone and leave a smile on everyone’s face. I take pride in the work that I do and I know my worth.
