Description:
Gently used short shank snaffle bit by Cowpuncher of Stormville, Texas. Its hallmark is smaller than present marks, indicating an earlier bit plus I don’t feel the chili pepper motif is still available. Lots of copper inlaid stripes on the back of the mouthpiece to create saliva to insure softness. Great transition bit from ring snaffle to a shank bit. Engraved overlaid silver, copper, and brass is tight with no dings or scratches plus a great “cowboy patina” makes for a very eye appealing bit. Measurements are 6” shanks 5 ¼” mouth. Dimly marked Cowpuncher on the inside of both shanks and 201 on the mouthpiece. $145.00 includes shipping to the lower 48. Please view my other listings.
