Description:
Spike is a 8 year old, 15 hand, 1150#, gray ranch gelding. This is a very good looking, well built horse, that catches everyone’s eye. He is off the Spike Box Ranch and carries their brands. This is a very nice horse to ranch on, he is very cowy and will really watch one sorting and roping. He has been used for everything on the ranch. Also been used some in the feed yard and a lot in the wheat patch. He has roped a ton outside, will work a rope. Caught plenty of run offs and drug in the trailer. This is a lot of horse, with a lot of feel, and can ride around. Big motor and quick footed when working cattle or roping but will walk off on a loose rein with his head down when your done. Rides low headed on a loose rein outside makin a circle. He is gentle but a serious ranch horse that knows his job. I like this horse a lot, he is my kind.
