Description:
Boon is a 10 year old, 15.1 hand, 1250#, Roan ranch gelding. Big thick bodied, stout, strong made, cinches up real deep, very good looking. Has done everything on the ranch you could ever need. A superior top of the line ranch gelding. We have owned Boon for the past 7 years and he has been my wife’s main horse. He’s been used to train a lot of dogs to gather tough cattle in any terrain. He has caught lots of cattle in some of the toughest country around. Loaded lots of trucks, stripped calves, loaded lead ups with cows and bulls to be worked, and can handle the hooky ones. Roped outside and in the branding pen and been hauled to some ranch rodeos. He’s been a great ranch horse and is fine with long lay offs and gentle but he isn’t a baby sitter. We would never have kept a horse this long if he wasn’t special, not many out there like him.
