Description:
Looking for a single ranch hand for a ranch in Northern Colorado mountains (summer) and Scottsbluff, NE in the winter. Must have recent experience in fencing, calving, running hay equipment, cattle work, and horses. Ideal candidate would be a self-starter that will be able to work as hard alone as they do when the boss is there. Summers are spent in the Walden, Co area and then cattle are taken to Scottsbluff, NE and put on cornstalks and then calved out. The ranch in Colorado runs 500 mother cows and 125 replacement heifers as well as 1800 ton of hay put up each year. Non smoker, non drinker preferred, and must have valid drivers license and reliable vehicle. Bunk house, utilities, meat, and wages provided. Starting wage is $2000.00 month before taxes.
