Description:
The employer is seeking a full-time, permanent ranch hand. Applicants must have a clean driving record, experience with livestock, haying, fencing and a strong work ethic. Duties include working cattle with a horse and/or 4-wheeler, feeding, operating farming equipment such as tractors, swathers, baler and bale processor. Maintenance and repair skills are needed, such as welding and general mechanics. Work is 6 days a week except during haying and calving. A comfortable, furnished house with paid utilities, 3 bedrooms, full basement and 1 1/2 baths is provided on the ranch, however, this house is not on the school bus route.
