Description:
*Ran 6,000 yearlings + 125 pairs on 70,000 acres between two hands. Horseback, four wheeler, tractor and walking. Fixed fence, doctored, calved, rotated pastures etc…

*Spent a year at the largest custom feed lot in the country with an exceptional personal death loss rate. I am very capable of spotting a sick cow and ranked 3rd in death loss stats behind two long time hands at the yard.

*Day worked for several cow/calf and yearling operations.

*Draft horse experience.

*Worked for a few cutting horse trainers including two Hall-of-Famers and a non pro futurity winner. Started colts, rode two-year-olds in training, loped show horses, took care of yearlings and foals.

*Ran trail ride program at a guest ranch including care and nutrition.

*Worked through high school and part of college giving riding lessons to special needs children and adults.

*Currently day work, start colts and train horses for the public.





Looking for a long term opportunity with housing.

Married, no kids, 2 friendly dogs (Aussie, Border Collie, both male), 2 good using geldings. Can start mid April(negotiable for the right place).

Open to coming on as a husband/wife team. She has helped me feed, move, doctor and catch cattle. Can hook up/drive a truck/trailer. Currently she is working in guest services at a B&B (cooking, housekeeping, guest needs, shopping/restocking supplies etc). She is open to helping with cow/horse work, guest services, nanny-ing etc..
