Description:
Adams Land and Cattle is seeking an individual to be responsible in coordinating and leading the Feeding and Mill teams and delegating tasks within the feeding operations at our 85,000 head South Feedlot.



This person is responsible for:

-Supervising, coordinating, and delegating the Feeding personnel and operations including: promoting teamwork, assisting with employee growth and development, maintaining efficiency of personnel to maximize production goals, and assisting in all operations.

-Ensuring that the daily operations in feed delivery and equipment maintenance are conducted accurately and consistently.

-Maintaining and repairing all equipment and facilities, while providing cleanliness of whole area.

-Monitoring and maintaining reports and information flow to computers by inputting records in accordance with FDA and QA to ensure quality production.



Ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:

-Previous leadership experience.

-Previous Feeding experience is beneficial.

-Knowledge of general mechanics, agriculture or rural background and interest is a plus.

-Exceptional ability to use analytical techniques for problem solving, coordination, and decision making.

-Driven, organized, action-oriented, analytical, and ability to multi-task.

-High attention to detail.

-Individual must be team-oriented.

-Proven professional communication, persuasion, and customer service skills.

-Serve all customers both internally and externally with a positive, professional, respectful and courteous attitude with honesty and integrity.
