Combined, we offer a well versed set of skills. Most recently we worked together managing a 500 acre private ranch and recreational property. Combined, we have experience in training horses, creating and maintaining a herd, researching, interviewing and overseeing contractors, cleaning and preparing houses for property owners and their guests, keeping all recreation and working equipment clean and in working order, negotiating with various vendors, securing health insurance for employees, creating and organizing liability waivers for guests, and keeping grounds in pristine condition (several miles of trails, pastures, flower gardens, pool and vegetable garden). Him (TOM): Natural horsemanship with a broad range of successful wrangler and barn management experience. Emphasizing in starting colts and working with green/problematic and OTT horses. Creating well rounded horses that can perform in and out of the show arena. Ability to work cattle quickly and efficiently in low stress settings, along with exercising bucking stock. Doctoring on site and proficient in trimming both horses and cattle. Good eye for future cutting/roping/ranch prospects. Ability to address dietary concerns and maintain a happy, healthy herd. Her(CAROLINE): A background in hospitality and corporate HR and has recently served as "Assistant Ranch Manager" for six months. Has very basic riding abilities. Is able to identify and treat basic physical ailments and has experience of overall care and maintenance of horses (feeding, grooming etc). and Willing to learn and be trained for new role. Has extensive experience in the restaurant industry (serving, bartering, reception/reservation, expeditor and event planning) in both high volume and private dinner club environment. Managed, trained, hired and over saw an average of 50 field staff, performed payroll as needed; maintained frequent communication with hiring managers and account contacts.
