Description:
We are a very experienced ranch couple looking for either a foreman/ranch management position or lease option. We have been on the place we’re on for 8 1/2 years. My husband is the foreman(only hired man) for absentee owners on this 5200 acre ranch. We summer pairs, and raise some exotics. He’s responsible for all the herd health, pasture rotations, fence, equipment and building maintenance.

We are an honest, hard working, christian couple looking for the right opportunity (52 and 47 if it matters). What we are looking for is a management opportunity on a place where BOTH of us can work, or would like to take-over/lease a place where someone is ready to slow down or retire. Would prefer a smaller place where we would be the only crew. We don’t have a problem putting in long hard days, but we also enjoy our time off.

Our experience includes all aspects of cow/calf, yearlings, feedlot, haying, some farming, pasture management, windmill and water line maintenance, hauling (class A CDL), running about any kind of equipment, welding, mechanicing, building and yard maintenance, plus numerous other things I can’t think of right now. We don’t really consider ourselves "horse trainers", but we have 4 good horses that we "made from scratch" that we can do anything with. Love riding a good horse and bringing young ones on.

We would prefer Wyoming, Colorado, western SD, western Kansas, western OK, possibly northern NM or northern AZ.
