Description:
We are looking for a lead farmer/shop foreman. This person will be responsible for all equipment, and with the assistance of all ranch employees will schedule and execute maintenance and service. Shop will be your baby. Minimum 5 years experience as a mechanic or farm foreman. Irrigation knowledge is a must. We will not be doing major tractor repair, ie. (breaking tractors in half) but we will fix and fabricate a bunch so as to reduce cost. We have a very nice heated shop and keep all equipment in good working order and store inside. Livestock duties will be as needed during feeding,calving,and branding.



You will be the lead farmer and work directly with manager. You will be asked to help implement a farm plan for ranch. Grass/alfalfa mix hay is our number one crop but a rotation of small grains is likely in the future.

So knowledge of swathers, 3x3x8 balers, and all types of implements and tractors is important.



Housing for single man or family, 7 miles from Big Timber, MT.

Ranch has great family atmosphere and there are lots of kids. Wives all get along and houses are great.
