Thank you! We are looking to fill the Ranch Managers position on a highly improved 11,000 acre ranch in western Val Verde Co. The property is utilized by the landowner for the personal enjoyment and recreation of he and his family. They are currently breeding Whitetail and Mule Deer on the ranch for the sole purpose of supplementation and genetic enhancement of the native herd. As the Ranch Manager, you will be responsible to oversee and maintain all aspects of the property with the help of a tenured ranch hand and his wife. Responsibilities will include: -Deer Breeding Management and Herd care -Wildlife Management plans and coordination -Guiding, Scouting and cleaning of game animals -Habitat Management -Upkeep and Filling of 11 Ranch Protein Feeders and 20 Corn Feeders -Blind Maintenance -Coordination of hunts and entertaining guests -Lawn Care The owners of this property are family driven and enjoy the ranch as often as they can. They want to find someone that is willing maintain the property they love and enjoy spending time on. Qualifications: Required: -Previous Ranch management experience -Knowledge in Deer Pen Management and care -Wildlife Management degree or agriculture related studies -Equipment operating -Water line and well knowledge -Decent Spanish speaking capabilities You must be a proactive self starter who is willing to work long hours during the hunting season.
