Description:
Large cow-calf and yearling operation located in Central Utah. We run on BLM and Forest allotments. We also have a feedlot operation that is pretty full in the fall and winter.



Job Duties

-This position requires a person with extensive knowledge in all phases of cattle production from breeding to weaning including calving, pasture doctoring, branding and feeding.

-Most work is done on horseback.

-Work 7 days per week during the busy times of year (spring and fall)

-Fencing: we build and repair our own fences.

-Maintain waterlines.



Candidates Must

-Be capable of moving small pairs.

-Be independent. We don’t babysit. You need to be responsible and able to work alone, but also able to work with others.

-Be willing to work in an isolated area; 30 miles to basic services.

-Be willing to live in a cow camp.

-Have a valid driver’s license.

-Maintain a working cell phone.



We provide a cow camp for our employees, but this is not family housing. The camp is moved between our allotments to where the cattle are located, which is why the ideal candidate will be single. We don’t have anything against families, but we aren’t looking to house one or hire a husband/wife duo.
