Description:
We are looking for a hard working individual to help with all aspects of a stocker/backgrounding operation. This would include checking and doctoring high risk sale barn calves in grass traps, processing, sorting, and feeding cattle, as well as maintaining the equipment and facilities. Experience with yearlings/stocker cattle is important. We are looking for someone who wants a long term job and is willing to work hard. Our operation is growing quickly and there is potential for advancement in responsibility and salary. We offer a competitive starting salary depending on experience. Most of our equipment and facilities are in excellent shape and we strive to improve the working conditions at every opportunity. We do not have housing available, however, we are close to town and rent houses are easy to find. This is a seven day a week job, but we try to be done by 1:00 on Saturday and mid morning on Sunday. This is a great opportunity for the right person who desires to grow with us.
